So slow, despite having so much of the ball we did so little with it. We used to be so creative with set pieces even that was poor tonight.

Cash gets some credit, as does Kamara - at least they both tried.

Buendia should have been subbed at halftime with Bailey.

Emery needs some criticism as well here, just not quick enough with making changes.

Some poor performances, Roger’s was shocking last 30 minutes.

We just seemed to run out of ideas.

Buendia very good first half though.

Piss poor all over the pitch. Not good enough.

Pathetic performance. I’m delighted we still have the unique ability to shoot ourselves in the feet when we can do. It’s a Villa tradition.

A game too far - Everton and Arsenal away in the past week has taken it out of them. Monaco, full of young players with running ability and hadn't played since Friday. A shame, we could really do with skipping the next round of this competition.
