Good all round - Wood was brave, Cacace was better, the standing count was good and the retirement the right decision.

Oliver McCall drew a six-rounder last night. He's sixty.

It was what makes boxing great - one second Huni's thinking he's only seven and a bit minutes away from a world title fight, the next it's "Who turned the lights out?"

Wardley will have to improve on that if he's going to win a world title, though.

Was unable to watch Wordley, as I haven't got DAZN, but I did watch Callum Simpson who, after being knocked down twice, came back very impressively to beat Ivan Zucco, with the ref stopping the fight in the 10th round, after 3 knockdowns.

One good fight, one local win and a war that Gal Yafai lost.
