I haven’t watched boxing for years, but my daughter’s boyfriend is round and he’s a huge fan and wanted to watch it with us. That was bloody impressive. So often I’ve watched heavyweights fight and it bores me with all the pausing, grappling and that, but that was quick and relentless. He gave the poor lad a right hiding!

I genuinely thought with age, and how good Dubois has been lately he might have a chance of catching him tonight. I'm clearly an idiot. Usyk is a genuine great, short of one punch in one of the fights with AJ and 2-3 rounds where Bellew really had a go, I don't think I've ever watched him and thought the other guy stood a chance. About 30 seconds in you could see Dubois just doesn't have the brainpower to out think him, and by the 5th was about 5 seconds behind Usyk in his thought to actions. The final punch was a lovely shot.

He's good, but he's not all-time great good. There's been a lot of fighters who would have had too much for him.

Usyk is such a clever boxer, rare to see a heavyweight boxer with so much movement which led to Dubois hardly laying a glove on him. Can't see any current heavyweight troubling him at the moment, he's a classy guy and I would like to see him retire unbeaten.

And even in their first fight, Fury had him beat, but then started to mess around, got tagged and spent the rest of the fight in survival mode. If he'd stayed sharp he would have won.

He reminds me a bit of a Mayweather in that he is able to adapt so comfortably to what he is facing.  He's beaten everyone out there now and beaten them twice in most cases.

One thing that annoyed me last night was the publicity given to that absolute clown Jake Paul during the coverage.  Goodness knows why he was allowed to go into the ring to confront Usyk after the fight, when he's got absolutely no intention of fighting him and will just line up another ex-fighter in his 50's next.

The trouble with Paul's circus is that boxing keeps giving him so many clowns.
