Why do we keep getting rid of any pace we have?

I think Tammy in for Malen would be insurance against a Watkins injury, which would absolutely ruin us if Malen was the only back-up.

Wouldn't be surprised if Evan Ferguson was to come our way. Finally starting to score a few goals for Roma but still being openly criticised by their coach and they are linked to loads of other forwards like Malen. He needs a lot of work, his back to goal play is appalling for starters.

£140k p/w will impact SCR. We won't be able to get Tammy as it will look like a swap, won't it?

Depends who we get in to replace him to know if this is a good business or not.

🚨 Donyell Malen to Roma —  €2m loan fee, with a mandatory clause set at €25m in case Roma qualifies for any European competition next season.

It would, but Malen has been really effective in his role this year. Conversely we’ve got Elliott, Guessand, and Sancho who for a variety of reasons have contributed virtually nothing. I don’t even mind Sancho that much, but there’s no goals or assists. Losing Malen is a big mistake, unless there’s someone who can bring pace to us and assists and scores.

Hopefully those kids we signed at the beginning of the window have some pace

Probably speedily going out on loan

Trust Emery, if Malen is going there will be a replacement other than Tammy.

My predictions are:

Elliot leaves = Marmoush
Elliot stays = Garcia from Real Madrid

Both loans

That’s the thing, losing a player who has played an important role for very little doesn’t feel great.
