The Don  8)

You don't get many bald players in the Premier League these days. I am glad to be able to support a fellow bald brother.

He used to play for Arsenal btw. Hopefully he's extra motivated to score tomorrow.

Strange story doing the rounds that Roma think they’re going to sign him.

Yeah but that’s newspapers for you, there’s a story going round that we are going to sign Garcia from Real….that’s the Garcia that banged a hat trick in for them at the weekend.

Excellent news, sounds like he's in good form.

Even stranger, we only want what we paid for him. Idiots.

Plenty of social media talk that we're in talks with Roma about loan with them signing Malen for 20m or so in the summer.

Would be surprised if we let him go mid season.

He's probably never going to be a regular starter with how we set up but he's shown his quality off the bench this season and if you're playing a 60 game season and aiming to win trophies you need guys like that to come off the bench and swing games. I'm convinced he'll score a crucial goal for us in the Europa knockouts.

He might also have a decent World Cup so we could get better price in the summer.

Not sure it's a great plan to let him go and then hope Guessand can finally get going as I've just watched 3-4 games of him playing CF for his national team so we seem to be using him in reverse to Malen.

Roma sending Bailey back to then get Malen on loan would be a massive pee take aswell.

There's no way he's going and Guessand being his replacement. Wed get someone much better in.

He’s been very effective this year - and that is in stark contrast with other wide/back up options we have. I think it would be very poor to let him go, and if we did we’d better have a very good replacement lined up.

..and that replacement hits the ground running.

His attitude has been top drawer and he’s been an excellent impact sub. But it’s a lot of money to be carrying for squad player. We’re not Man City who can just buy as needed. We clearly still need to move players out to get new ones in. It’s just unfortunately where we are.

Me too, feels like another deal dictated by balancing the books first and foremost.

Well quite and that was something I thought at the weekend - he had clearly learnt our style and was really effective, and integral, in two brilliant goals.
