Unai with an eye roll when the doc told him what was wrong with Torres....gestured a snap.

Caught out completely by a speculative long ball. Offside trap failed - Konsa played his man on and then the centre halves were pretty well absent.

Bit like Leipzig's first goal in some regard - failed to deal with a nothing ball.

like the forest goal

I forgot we were playing.

Wish I had stayed that way. Sounds horrible.

But this is our best defensive line up (apparently) so we must play it at all costs.

Well, did you follow us last season? When we finished 4th and made a semi-final? this was our back four.

Check the goals conceded column last season.

When Emery arrived he made us solid at the back, time for this to happen again, especially as we seem to have lost all our attacking intent which got us through many games last season.

I actually think it didn't happen overnight - remember everyone questioning Villa's highline, how suicidal it was at times? Eventually we learned to play it. I wonder if Emery has tweaked it and we're having to learn a system again. Or just in one of those spells where it all goes against us!

Keep playing it then but we don’t have the same players we had last season with Luiz and Diaby not being here. Or try a natural defender like Mings (who wasn’t available last season) and see if it improves us.

There was a ball from
mings there speaking to everyone who thinks he can't distribute it accurately.

Brighton spent £200m on the summer on players. Never would have guessed that. Unreal.

Last season is over, defence has been a fucking shambles this season so last season counts for Jack shit right now
