It looks really nice - but I would not pay £80.00 for a football shirt (or any other item of clothing)

Well with that attitude how are the club supposed to reach the magical £400m income mark?

Very true, hopefully if i can afford it and get and get a new job after I have been made redundant in March (thanks Reeves ...c**t) then I will be in the position to re-new my season ticket for the 35+ seasons in a row.

Sold out on JD Sports now too.

I was told they won't get more stock until April.

It’ll be a limited run I’d expect

Yeah, I'd be surprised if we made any more other than the initial run.

Commercially it's probably not a bad thing for the club to have this aura of the limited edition stuff being buy-on-sight.

But with so many people missing out surely it makes more sense not to be a limited run. If we want to generate Money so that we can compete on the PSR level limiting sales isint going to help.

Really disappointed in the black shirt. Could we not have done something like this...?

I mean black FFS, at home in the FA Cup. Hope we win, otherwise the optics of losing to these cockney no marks is not going to look great. Like going to a funeral!

Yes, or the very first one.

Can't help but think Black was the easy option.

But  they have got the badge spot on in fairness.

I don't know how accurate the shirt history is, but the black one was supposedly used within a few years of our founding where the claret and blue half was over 10 years later. As the first C and B shirt, it could have been considered I suppose.

I'm not bothered about the black kit, but it does irk me that were doing it in a match against another team that play in our colours.

We may have asked West Ham to wear a change strip, I don't know. If I was them I'd agree and then turn up with our home kit only.

It's class, IMO. I never buy club shirts but might get this one of it's available cheap in six months or so.

Only if we win, mind.

We wore a red and blue striped kit first

I know. Someone posted a claim from elsewhere that Heck was seriously considering that one but was told by someone the black one with red lion was a better fit. I agree.
