In the anniversary spirit, the shirt should retail at 15 quid, surely?

I think the badge is nice, but the black shirt, not having it! We're the famous Aston Villa FFS, we play in claret and blue, and the other no mark clubs that play in claret and blue wish they were Aston Villa. I don't care if we played in black a handful of times way, way, way back in the day, but everyone who knows football, knows Aston Villa play in claret and blue! This is just wrong and money grabbing nastiness. Up the claret and blue Villa!

Just be glad it wasn't the red and blue hoops that Heck first wanted.

Can I say I like the badge ?

Me too. Like the prepared under it… it’s from the era I fell in love with the club. I’d reduce the text to just Aston Villa though.

Make it claret and blue, job done as the current badge.

Hoodies are ok, but anyone over 30 should not be wearing a hoodie  :)

I'll need to see it in action before I decide whether I like it or not. Does look a bit like a tshirt in the pictures.

For the 200th anniversary game, will the club do a 1 off kit based on the 1974 kit?

I obviously won't be around to see the game, but my Grand Daughter who was born last week will, so I am going to make sure that she will grow up to be a Villa fan.

I think they missed out on an opportunity to make an iconic kit.
But it is just another plastic shirt.
