Been moving house and not seen a ball kicked since Red Bull.
We're we great or were we just better than city?
I've heard we looked amazing.

I only saw second half but we were dominant. Solid defensively and dangerous going forward.

Great to see Onana and Kamara finally playing together ... and, as I felt would be, they were excellent together.
We could have scored 3-4 goals today and it would not have flattered us.
Special mentions to Cash, Tielemans, McGinn, Rogers and Duran.
Digne was slightly off it, in my view.
Torres was both poor  - some of his passing was cringeworthy - and also put in some difficult scenarios by both Martinez and Konsa.

Grealish played okay but the performance confirmed my view that he really isn't a left-winger: he'd have been far more effective as a #10 today, because his passing and ball control were excellent.
Good summary. Credit to cash , having been booked early I thought would be a problem. He held it together well today .

Just had a look at Blue Moon. Fuck me, if we ever commented about a manager who won us six league titles and a European Cup the way they’re talking about Pep, I’d start supporting Shrewsbury.

Let's not forget they have cheated their way to all that silverware . The sickening commentary today was talking about them having a January and summer rebuild and no mention of the 115. Wankers .

I've just looked there too. Don't know how many posts per page that site has, but it's already up to 106 pages. Wow. EDIT - maybe wrong game.

I wouldn't swap Martinez, Kamara or Duran for anyone in world football. Genuinely. There might be marginal gains on them by the odd player here or there, but they are absolute top level and run straight through the spine of the side.

I reckon we're going to have a cracking second half to the season.

Agree on those 3 yet Rogers was MOTM followed very closely by Tielemans.

Just had a look as well. Their admin 'locked' the site for 30 minutes to give everyone a chance to calm down.

Great stuff.

I've been on Blue Moon a fair bit today too. Given their quite remarkable collapse I would say they were at least as level headed as some on here during our recent bad run and even last weekend. There seemed to a fair few questioning whether Pep had lost it but I don't think I saw anyone actually saying they wanted him gone.

If it was anyone else with such a bad record over the last dozen games they’d be serious questions being asked and they’d be under enormous pressure.

Looks like Onana had a tasty exchange with Joe G at full time , hence then a few stepping in to calm things down. Joe was a classless clown today in fairness .

“You’re a fucking bitch” I think he said.

Harsh but fair.

Tielemans = McGinn (in the advanced role)

As one eyed a Scotsman as I am, there’s no way SJM plays the passes Tielemans does and would be a drop off in that position. More of a compliment to Youri than a dig!

Only caught the second half today but the number of times you would see a Villa player getting the ball on the half turn with the Man City player behind them having acres of space to stride into was utterly majestic.

Honestly, I know it's childish, but reading each post there was like taking a big bite of chocolate cake.

I was concerned how much space cash was allowing wide as everything was going out to grealish.
I actually think it was tactical as each time Grealish got it thier move broke down.

He has been so deconstructed by Pep i actually feel sorry for him.

Pity we could not of kept a clean sheet.

Fantastic display

Just confirming I haven’t had a look in at blue moon and as things stand I’m unlikely to do so
