Might as well not bother then. Don't rebuild the North, as Emery will go, we won't replace him. The squad will get weaker as Spurs will sign all our targets. We'll slip down the league and attendances will fall. Only need one bad run and we're in relegation trouble. As we've seen based on the evidence of two league games in the immediate vicinity of a European semi-final, we wouldn't cope with a relegation battle. We'll slip into the 2nd division. Owners will get disinterested. Administration will become likely. Chance of becoming a new Leicester and double dipping.

Am I doing it right?

On the plus side it should be a bit easier getting tickets.
Especially for away games, can’t wait

Last game of the season, Forest v Bournemouth. If Forest are already safe I do hope we have nothing riding on that one.

We'd never make it past the semis.

I'm confident we have done enough to finish top five which is just as well because we are limping towards the finish line now.

We’re not quite there, and that’s what makes yesterdays piss poor effort so hard to swallow.

And no one selling half and half scarves outside the ground

We could be playing the Sulpherites (a nickname I'd never heard of) if we keep this up.

They stink.

We're on 58 points
Max points attainable and remaining games for the 3 clubs that (as it stands) can overhaul us.

Bournemouth   61            Fulham H,       Man City A      Forest A
Brentford          60             Man City H,    Palace H,         Liverpool A
Brighton            59             Wolves H       Leeds A            Man United H

3 wins for us - Forest, Burnley and in Istanbul .... .... ?

I don’t disagree…I’ve been following the maths myself for weeks, but I’d be a lot more confident saying we’ve done enough fof 5th place had we not been so pathetic and shit the bed yesterday. If we’d been on 61pts going in to the Forest game then things would feel a lot differently for a lot of Villa fans.

Four teams left who can catch us after Chelsea's capitulation. Will be three if Everton fail to beat Man City later.
