I suspect we are hoping that Burnley are on the beach by the time we play them next Sunday.

He's probably thinking that they've been utter wank all season, which is a fair assessment. Given our last couple of fixtures it is feeling riskier than it should though.

If we “perform” like we did today they’ll beat us. Hopefully we’re more professional moving forward.

Emery seems to have put all his eggs in two baskets - somehow getting through on Thursday and then beating Burnley on Sunday.

We have thrown away a huge advantage over the last few months.

Ourselves and Arsenal are the only two clubs to have managed to remain in the top five and reach a European semi - given our budget he's working miracles.

No

Appreciated. Someone needs to keep order around here when I'm busy watching "football".

I do wonder what the line-up will be at Burnley. If the Forest game goes to Extra-Time, not unlikely, the players will be fooked for Sunday

Playing the same team as tonight doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Any one of the teams below has to win every remaining game to stop us and I can’t see that happening. We are limping over the line but I think we have enough.

If we do the same against Burnley we’ll lose. It was fundamental stuff missing today, an XG of 0 at home at half-time is remarkably inept.

Not true.  Bournemouth could go a point above us with two wins and a draw.  Brentford would go above us on goal difference with two wins and a draw.  Very difficult for either side to finish with 7 or more from 9, but entirely possible.

Assuming of course we lose our last three.  Which is unlikely, but again entirely possible.

I think we need to win one, which is looking more distant than it should.

I've been saying since November, that I would hate to go into the last two games needing anything at all, and for a long time it looked like we wouldn't, but given our current form, we might actually need to get something from Liverpool or Man City. *shudder*

Bournemouth are the biggest threat in my opinion. They could well win at Fulham on Saturday, meaning the gap is down to 3 points. Goal difference could yet play a part - we had a 5 goal advantage over them prior to yesterday's games,  that is down to only 1 now. We simply have to win at Burnley on Sunday. I watched Burnley against Man City recently,  and they pushed City hard and only lost 0-1. Bournemouth have to play Man City at home yet, which will help if City win.

It’s incredible we’re still having this discussion but we are and with good reason. I’ve a horrible feeling about this.

We have had multiple opportunities to get this over the line - after last night I have serious doubts it will happen.

So do we want Forest to take points off Chelsea today? I lose track of where we are in the 4D chess match.

Yes but also hope they have to run around a lot. It’s genius.
