Field the U15s v Spurs as we qualified for the CL weeks ago.

Yeah, great idea, then watch them outbid us for players this summer. You have the chance to relegate a rival, take it.

Credit where it's due, that's exactly my opinion. Even if Spurs came straight back up they'll have lost a year's income and as we saw, the game moves on ridiculously fast without you.

Completely  agree. It will set them back years if they go down. Also means one less rival next season as soyrs will spend bog in the sunmer if they stay up

It will be hugely impactful if they go down. But unlike most, if not all other clubs that down they will still retain massive non football revenues that will aid them in rebuilding. And if they do well in the Championship and it appears they will come straight back up the sponsors will be racing to align with them because of who they and where they are. The media will be salivating at a Tottenham revival. Their biggest challenge is will they be able to turn it around that fast? Players will want to get out. It’s a WC year so negotiating with players and agents, leaving and incoming will be hard. The turnaround might not be as easy as they will want.

We haven’t qualified yet, and it would hugely advantageous to us long-term if Spurs went down. Also short-term we need as much momentum as possible going into Thursday. For all those reasons we need to be right up for this game and win it.

If they stay up they'll be closer to top 6 than they will bottom 6 next season imo.

So get them gone, it will be hilarious. Can see West Ham going though, unfortunately.

Doesn’t winning always improve goal difference?

Of course, but it’s a matter of degrees!

Until Lerner's austerity project i remember us regularly finishing above spurs. Natural order has been restored in that regard.

They're not only winning and improving their goal difference, they're increasing their points total.

Absolutely. In 2009 it would have been laughable to suggest Spurs were a bigger club than us. I never saw them as a bigger club than us
