Tottenham?

It's been a rough few weeks form wise, but we're off J6, not J9.

Really hope Onana is fit soon, I'm convinced he's our key midfielder and our best performances this season have been when he plays.

With the wingers faltering I would try a new system. We cannot expect to play the same formation every week expecting something to change.  I'd be tempted to start with a back three and see if we can keep the midfield shape.

                                                      Martinez

                                               Konsa Mings Torres
                               Cash                                        Digne

                                           Mginn Kamara Tielemans

                                                  Duran   Watkins

I really do not know why so many think the answer to the problem is to go to a Back 5.
Thankfully Emery does not do 5 at the back either.

I think the answer is having a midfield of kamara and onana in it. That is more robust.

But our luck seems against us as we get one back the other gets injured

We really need a win so I'm going for a 2-1 Villa win.

We desperately need to up our intensity and intent. A good illustration is the passing around the back, I don’t actually mind it when it’s done properly. But it’s so slow and lacking in purpose at the moment we’re just inviting pressure without adding any value. We need to be much more purposeful in what we do.

Not looking forward to this, Frank's Brentford team are battlers and given our lack of confidence, it's easy to see us being phlattened. 1-3.

Brentford are one of the best pressing teams in the league so that doesn’t augur well for Olsen, Carlos, Konsa et al if we try to play walking football. Agree about upping the intensity and getting the ball back to front much quicker even if possession drops a bit.

Another glaring weakness that wasn't solved in the Summer, reserve keeper hologram. Coming back to bite us now.

They think it was solved with Gouchi being the replacement for Olsen when he leaves at end of season, or maybe even Jan.

We cannot just stockpile players - we are not part of the scum 6 (yet)

Or play Swedish international, and the World's number two, Robin Olsen. ;-)
