I liked the days when Emery would change things mid game if it wasn't working out.

I think Cash has played quite well so far in a defensively poor side. One of the key problems is players not controlling the ball or being able to retain possession: combine that with the fact Tielemans has been poor and it's no surprise to see us 2-0 down.
We're slow generally, and defensively we're too deep.
Funny how we all see things differently.  Cash looks like a pub player to me today. He’s given away 3 needless corners and has bashed a knee high back pass to Martínez.  The defence is shot, made worse because  our centre forward is on one of his cold streaks.
I agree he got worse as the half progressed, and the back pass was terrible!

100% back pass
Some of you just deluded

Torres controls the ball with his foot Martinez picks it up, it’s as plain as day
It’s a fuck up that’s all there is to it
Well I'd say it's open to interpretation rather than delusion

Yep it’s very clear. I think it’s symptomatic of where they all are at the moment. They’re mentally not there at all.

This is worse than Fulham away under Gerrard. Embarrassing.

Absolutely.

Fucking shambles.

No it isn't

Your opinion but this it the worst we have played since that Fulham game. The defence is a fucking shambles and doesn’t look remotely like we were last season. Torres might be good at bringing a ball out of defence but he needs to learn to defend first and foremost.

It has been a shambolic performance in many areas but there is always a lot of recency bias when the team is playing badly.

We got battered a couple of times last season because, as Monty says, the football is high risk and when nuts come loose at the same time, the wheels fall off.

Pretty much every player is now suffering for form, Tielemans and Konsa have joined others. But we have actually lost three and drawn two of the five games we haven't won, away at Liverpool, Spuds and now here. Sadly Chelsea are way better than they were, they have two hundred million pound players in midfield and a cracking four four. They are a good side, we are out of form. This is the result.

But it doesn't mean we are as shit as we were under Gerrard. That Fulham game was a performance devoid of tactics and structure. This is one devoid of confidence, form and littered with individual errors from multiple players.

Something has been 'off' all season. maybe some of the in the know here are aware what it is but something hasn't been right.

I think the biggest issue is not replacing the goal scoring of diaby and luiz. We lost 15 goals and replaced them with onana who is injury prone doesn't score  as many as dougie and inconsistent  and a hopeless player like philiogene.

Not signing a problem  right back as well.

This teams embarrassing to watch at times when you see how we defend as well

agree but if watkins scores its 1 0 and  adifferent game like arsenal and spurs before .  We are nowhere near as good as liast season but we are missing easy chances put them in and brings confindence , he has cost us a few points this season , I think I saw something where Villa miss the most big chances, so we have created.

We look so slow without diaby. Its incredible how much slower you can become as a team when one player leaves.

Break the abank get mbeulo

Olsen on

5-0 incoming
Fuck this im not bothering 2nd half

I'm not deluded. Torres controlled the ball with his foot and was shaping to kick it away with the other when Emi picked it up.
