We have no pace, no creativity, Watkins is isolated.  Can't defend like men, don't get close enough to them to stop them from passing through us.  Really poor first half, Bailey on for Philogene at half time.  I am losing faith in Emery but mostly because he wasn't supported properly in the summer.

Watkins has cost us so mamy points this season with his misses. I knew he was going to miss that one on one. I reckon duran buries that

Genuinely like watching Gerard’s villa team this is. It’s been a bit crap for a while now, but this is unacceptable today.  Kamara aside, every player is having a mare.  Emery needs to make lots of changes at HT or we will lose this 4 or 5 nil.

Fuck off Philogene, absolute waste of a shirt.  Hooked at half time please.

He can go. Im done with him. He is fucking shit

Let's all calm down. Lots of us need him to get booked first then he can do one.
Cant believe what a flop he has been. I did think he might not be ready but didnt think he would be this bad.

Replacing diaby with him was just sheer insanity

Depends if your definition of insanity is to with football or business

They have absolutely no confidence, no for,. and in one or two cases not enough ability. Emery's football is very fine-tuned and high-risk, you need everything to go right, and if the players don't have the mindset to pull it off it can really collapse horribly.
Well said.

Astonishing performance from Villa, the only merit we have gained from that rubbish is sending Chelsea to sleep, terrible game of football all around, utterly boring, Watkins craps himself in front of goal, has Rogers touched the ball, based on the first half Watkins off now, Rogers off now, Jaden off period, we need attacking creative options, where do we find that??.

if it couldn't get any worse, we now have to listen to Sturridge. I thought it was impossible to get a more irritating pundit than Micah Richards, but guess what?

This is worse than Fulham away under Gerrard. Embarrassing.

Absolutely.

Fucking shambles.

No it isn't

Your opinion but this it the worst we have played since that Fulham game. The defence is a fucking shambles and doesn’t look remotely like we were last season. Torres might be good at bringing a ball out of defence but he needs to learn to defend first and foremost.

I think Cash has played quite well so far in a defensively poor side. One of the key problems is players not controlling the ball or being able to retain possession: combine that with the fact Tielemans has been poor and it's no surprise to see us 2-0 down.
We're slow generally, and defensively we're too deep.

I actually think we played ok until we went two down. After that it has been atrocious.

On the bright side we should be 4-0 down, those two gifts from Martinez, the back pass and the pass to jackson.
and it's not like we created zero. Watkins has had 3 sniffs. There is space behind their full backs
Emery will be tearing the paint off the walls.  Mike basset bastards of bastards stuff.
but yeah this is the worst half I've seen under emery.

Got to bring 3 subs on immediately: Barkley, Duran and - I suppose - Bailey.
He won't immediately, though.

Thing is, we've actually created a few openings! Watkins has fucked two very good chances! There's still the kernel of the good team in there. It's just that it's a kernel surrounded by candy floss and blancmange.

Have just got back in after being out. I take it it’s not going well?
