Can’t play Philogene, Rogers and Tielemans when we line up so defensively. Waste of three places!

Chelsea press and villa's is miles apart
They've obviously been told not to press even when losing.

Pathetic again - there are too many players playing badly for it to just be about form. Sort it out Unai, this is unacceptable.

We seem to be  very easy to play against.
Teams don’t have to do too much to hurt us, whereas we are now incredibly ineffective

Serious question…

I don’t want to say this, because I love him but…

How much time do we give Emery to sort this out? This next transfer window? We’re not looking anywhere near the team that we were at the start of the season… something is wrong - again.

I trust Emery to sort it out, but I suspect we’ve been found out tactically and our players seem to be mentally out of their depth.

A very long time. He will get it right, but he is not getting it right at present and neither are the players.

I think our biggest problem this season has been that we lost players in the summer and failed to replace them adequately. The two who we took from Juventus could have been exceptionally useful at the moment.

We are missing Diaby, we are missing Luiz. They were cores of the team whether we liked it or not. By losing them, we lost a valuable contribution to our assists.

Defensively, the high line has been sussed out and our weaknesses have been exposed.

The January transfer window is going to be very very telling though. Either we’re backing to improve or we’re not - and if we have to endure the 2nd half of the season with these players alone, we’re in for a horrible journey.

I have no doubt that Emery will sort it out though in time - it’s just a question of what comes first - that, or the patience of our owners.

We’re suffering from this last summer now…

Our wide options are rubbish let's be honest. Bailey was brilliant this time last year but a shadow of that currently and if he picked up a knock we could just move Diaby out there.

Jaden I'm afraid just isn't good enough for the level we're currently at, Ipswich would've been a far better move for him so that's the drawbacks of PSR and buyback clauses. We just exercised it to game the system a bit but young players are humans aswell.

Terrible half but I don't think anyone should be too surprised given how the last month has gone.

Top 4 isn't realistic at all currently, Chelsea are far better than us and picking up results in other games they need to make it, we're not.

7th looks a push at this rate so we badly need to win the two home games we have coming up otherwise there will be massive issues starting to form.
The whole of the calendar year never mind the last month.

I cant believe I was happy when Jaden came back as I though he looked great last season at Hull.  He has been absolutely dire all season.

I agree with this. PSR killed us, but you have to question the Diaby move. For all is flaws, he clearly is better than Philogene. The question is, to what degree, if at all, are we past the PSR issues? If we are not, then we are in for another tough summer. Makes it important for Monchi/Emery to get it right.
