Hopefully  if we get past preston, Bournmouth beat city. They probably wouldnt be able to sell 30k tickets meaning more for our fan base as tickets for wembley will be tough for semis

Maybe, but a first trip Wembley appearance in 25 years (and even that was for the Autowindscreens Shield) is probably the sort of thing that would easily turn several thousand Dorset daytrippers into massive Cherries fans for the day.
I went to Wembley with the brother in law years ago to see Bristol Rovers in a play off final. They averaged 7000 at home that year, and took 47000 to Wembley that day. Amazing how many come out of the woodwork for a Wembley trip.

Going back to the fixture date, I can't see any of the games being played on the Sunday as 5 of the teams through all play on the following Tuesday. I reckon there will be one game Friday night and the other three spread over Saturday.

They can move the Prem fixtures.

Would they though? Some teams might have already put tickets on sale. Seems simpler to just play the games over Friday and Saturday.

We are talking almost a month away whereas we had a match moved with two weeks notice, so yes the non-TV prem moves are simpler, especially as some teams won't know if their players are actually on international duty until 2 weeks beforehand.

About half a million in the Poole/Bourenmouth conurbation, season ticket holders will be taking their nans and cousins who prefer rugby but it's a day out etc, no problem.

I'd be very surprised if at least one of the ties wasn't played on the Sunday.

Ah, ok. I also presumed those Tuesday and Wednesday games might be Amazon or TNT jobs. We'll just have to see I suppose.

Let's not get carried away.  We had this when we drew Bradford and got our fingers burnt.  Given our poor away form as well, perhaps tone down the arrogance

Nobody should be dismissing them, but if we don’t win it’s a big fuck up. That’s not disrespecting them, but even away a team with our resources should be beating them 9 times out of 10.

They're the only Championship team left in it so it's not arrogant to suggest we should go through, and I'm sure Unai won't take them lightly. It's not as if we're in the 3rd tier and arrogant/deluded enough to think we'll be competing with Citeh in 2 seasons' time. Although in fairness to Blose fans, it's probably easier to get carried away when the highlight of your week is a date with your sister.

If Blose can shift 30k tickets for a Wembley game, then a bigger club like Bournemouth will have no problem doing so.

We should get 6000 tickets for Preston.

It would be their first semi final in either cup, I reckon they'd be more likely to sell out than Man City would.

Two are at 2000 (Forest/Manure, Scouse Derby) the rest are 1945. I've checked and the 2000 are TV (TNT Tuesday, Sky Wednesday). If Forest beat Ipswich tonight, then the Brighton/ Forest match probably has to be on Saturday to avoid Sunday/ Tuesday. As we play Brighton next match, the easiest thing is to have us on Saturday as well.

That leaves moving Bournemouth and Fulham matches to Wednesday.

All assumptions before anyone gets jiggidy on counting eggs before chickens have hatched, but:

If we get through, my preferred rivals would be Bournemouth, Brighton, Fulham.
I would take Fulham in the Semi-final and then Brighton in the final if we got that far.

Again, no assumptions from me either but as you've mentioned the final .....

Isn't the allocation 25000 and we have 30000 season ticket holders plus GA+ queue jumpers.  How will that work?

Same as it did for previous years when we had too many Season Tickets with away fans and maybe cup matches attended being part of it. It did used to be where you sat in the ground (Witton centre, Witton wings, North Upper, etc) but it would be interesting if GA+ got ahead of the queue.
