Going solely on times, the Forest/Manure match is on TV Tuesday and Scouse Derby Wednesday. So Forest (if they get through) will have to be Saturday. As they are playing Brighton and we are both playing Tuesday, we should get the other Saturday slot and still play Tuesday with Bournemouth and Fulham matches being Sunday/ Wednesday.

Before the draw for the 1/8 finals I did guess Preston NE away for us. That did not happen.  Now my guess is that we will get PNE away for our 1/4 final.
INSIGHT (at last)!

That’s not insight. That’s a random guess that was wrong, then another random guess that was right

That is the definition of Insight on here.

Forgot about Kaine Kezza-Hazza being cup-tied.
Come on let's talk to the FA and allow the boy to play. It will be his biggest match so far and a rule must not deny him that opportunity

FA officially just state the weekend of Saturday 29th. But they have had that for every round including the ones going midway through the next week.

Will be going to Wembley with La Bluenose, assuming that by the time the tickets come round to general sale they haven't already sold their 50,000 allocation...

Not having a go or owt but I could never, ever do that under any circumstances.

And my Dad is one, as is one of my nephews, so it’s not a case of it being so unlikely a consideration it’s not worth thinking about, I just could never, ever even consider it.

Genuinely, there is no set of circumstances that would lead to me doing it. I feel a bit sick even writing about it.

Fucking hell. Imagine being around thousands of them all day. I’d rather be around MAGA mentalists or Russians. Or lepers.

And obviously I’d probably end up with leprosy from being around them.

Maybe as Martyn is from further away he doesn't hate them as much as many of our more local fans do? I've had Nose girlfriends and the possibility of attending each other's matches was never even discussed. Out of curiosity, does she attend Villa games?

Played for Preston And Villa
I’ll go first
Daniel Johnson

i always though he was good enough to stay at Villa
and he was legend at Preston
50 grand 50 grand Daniel Johnson !

Villa’s greatest winger of all played for both clubs.

Mr Anthony Morley esq

Like I said, not having a go at Martyn in any way, if anything I admire his willingness to do it for his Mrs.

Just saying, like.

My dad told me that back in the day (ie the 1950s) it wasn’t at all unusual to watch Villa one week and Blues the next.

Socially acceptable back then. But then again, so were rationing, racism and the desperate last throws of the dice of imperialism.

That is not acceptable unless she is Sharon Stone.

When my dad first arrived from Scotland he says he went to watch a thrilling 3-3 draw between Blues and Wolves in the top flight before attending a dreadful 0-0 between Villa and Orient in Division Two the week after but still decided that Villa were the team for him.

Slight problem is that neither of those matches seems to have actually happened so he's clearly misremembered it. Luckily he made the right choice, however he decided it, or I'd have likely just spent the last five hours on SHA ranting about how jammy Vilers are.
