I've got a sneaky feeling he'll start Duran.
With Ollie?

He must see by now that they can't play together. Try it out in pre-season, not at Anfield.

Still think this team looks best for today:
         Martinez
Konsa  Carlos  Torres  Digne
        Onana Kamara
Philogene           Ramsey
            Tielemans
             Watkins

A strong double pivot means we an play Torres to provide better forward momentum.
Play as per vs Bayern; save Rogers until a little later in the game; look to bring McGinn, Duran and Bailey on later, to being some energy and start to stretch the opposition.
Tielmans injured.

He might play apparently according to Emery.

Maybe as underdogs we will perform better , rather than looking like they are playing with the weight of the world on their shoulders

Just think though, the poor guy will have to live with that etched in to his Psychi for the rest of his life. I will forget about it tomorrow.

He didn't seem too arsed the other night. No real reaction, just kept chewing gum.

No Mings please.  Or Kamara.
I’d start Duran and swap for Ollie 60th min.

I'm sure he was very arsed. Why wouldn't  he be?

This is either going to be Arsenal away or Palace away.

This for me. I think the latter is far more likely than the former.

I’m not optimistic. Going to drink some wine and eat some cheese and see what comes first - their 5th goal against us or an episode of gout.

Maybe one of those where Carlos plays like a worldbeater.

Duran is nowhere near ready to start, I hope that’s not the plan.
Whether mings is ready to play another game so soon, I’m not sure, but if he’s ready I’d play him.
Likewise Kamara, the one bright spot from the other night.

I really am not confident about this game at all, and fear a bit of a tonking.

Even if we lose which is expected its how we perform and lose.  We wont want another poor spurs type loss.
