Think I'd try:

                 Martinez
Cash (if fit) Konsa Torres Digne
Rogers Onana Kamara Ramsey
       Tielemans
              Watkins

Tielemans dropping into a midfield three when we're out of possession, and getting forward to support Watkins when we're attacking.

Picked similar teams. The midfield is very physical and I'd like us to lean into it more. Double pivot of Onana and Kamara.

Also we concede far fewer goals with Cashy on the park, as rash as he can be on ocassion, so I hope he's fit.

I can't see Kamara starting after playing 90mins last night - but we need him to.

Good news for Guess The Goal 🥅 Round 9, Caribbeanvillan!

Hope it’s the traditional way round, though.

We need to keep the score down here as morale is bad enough as it is. If we can get away with a 2-0 then I'll be surprised.

Somehow, I can't see it.

4-0 to them, leaving us midtable heading into the break.

For the 7 people that have put us down for a win, you can get very good odds if you fancy a bet. Think I’ll keep mine in my pocket for now.

3 defeats and we've turned into Walsall "with please keep the score down Liverpool Sir, please".

Weak.

I'm one of them, but I've never been into gambling maybe that's a good thing!). I just feel like we'll get a response on Saturday.

The last few games have been weird.  This isn't Emery 'being found out' as I've read on here recently.  The dodgy results have actually been down to poor finishing and outrageously weird WTF moments like Mings last night.  Put chances away v Bournemouth, Spurs and Brugge and we win or draw those games.  I really don't count the shite we served up v Palace in the cup as it was a shadow side.

Liverpool are decent especially at home 'under the Anfield lights' (puke).  We will be under pressure in phases of the game of course, but we are a decent side too.  Put the chance that we will have away, and we can win the game. I'm surprised so many Villa fans seem to think we will get battered, but I suppose it's because we probably feel that the run under Emery can't last.  It fucking well can last. Let's believe in ourselves for once.

Form says they'll tear us a third dick, 5-1 Liverpool. But this is football so 2-7 Villa.

Bournemouth we were a bit unlucky, but we absolutely got what we deserved against Spurs, and that was a good shoeing.
