This is the kind of performance you need a bit of magic because as a team we're having an absolute stinker.

Should have been sent off really, a shambles to rival  Enkleman there..ffs
You do know that Enkleman didn't actually touch the ball, don't you?!

The mental approach is all wrong. Like Bournemouth, Bruges were probably expecting an onslaught, but realised early on that we are ponderous in our approach. Lackadaisical turgid shite.
Completely agree.
When you play with so little intensity, you become sloppy in thought and action.

We've become the team that believed it's own hype.

Mings should hang his head in shame for that, still can’t quite believe he did that.

I hesitate to ask but - for those of us stuck on a train home from work - what DID he do?

Martinez had taken a short free kick and Mings picked up the ball to give away a penalty for reasons only known to him.

If the ball is in play and you pick it up in the penalty area guess what...it's a penalty everytime. With 2 CBs on a booking I'd have taken 1 of them off at half time. 25 mins to save ourselves,  not looking likely
the ball wasn't in play, though ...

Martinez took a quick goal kick to him. Mings didn't realise ball was in play, picked it up and rolled it back to Martinez. Referee gave penalty. One-nil to the Bruggers.

There’s half an hour left. Plenty of time for the 5 goal comeback!
