Good to see changes after that disastrous result. Strong bench which helps

Kamara and mongs starting is great news

Yup.

Also nice to see Mings deservedly adding Champions League football to his CV.

I wonder where John is playing? Left side is the only option unless Rogers is playing there and we are going five in mid.

Don’t understand Bailey starting again.

I do like that Unai is keeping faith with Bailey- I hope he repays that faith tonight with a MOTM performance, its long overdue.

Also nice to see people spell Mings correctly, or at least not bad enough to induce a cringe.

Mings completes his Championship to Champions league journey with us. Eight out of the eleven were available for Gerrard, remarkable when you think about it.

Formation likely to be....

Martinez

Konsa       Carlos      Mings       Maatsen

        Kamara Tielemans
Bailey                       McGinn
               Rogers
               Watkins

I see McGinn tucking ina little on the left. Maatsen to come flying past......

Konsa providing solidity behind Bailey.

I like it.

That's a decent team although would of preferred Ramsay to McGinn who I feel is not justified to keep his place.
