Great performance so far. My commentary appear to think that Spurs have dominated possession and unlucky to be behind. I must be watching a different game as our lead is well deserved and we’ve controlled things.
Tielemans and Onana having great games, McGinn started well but the ref is letting the play go on when he goes down and he was getting the freekick for in in the first 20.
Watkins quiet so far but should have done better with his left foot chance and thinking about it he should have made contact with the left wing cross in the first few minutes.

We are really missing a class winger ( Bailey at his best) it limits the service to Watkins. Onana brilliant Spurs should be down to ten men.

A very measured first-half, we are in control without showing a lot going forward. Watkins' miss was poor and he's not winning the aerial battles today. The ref is garbage (again), it was a clear yellow for Bentancur.

The refs been lenient with bookings but that bentacur was  a yellow. Ridiculous

Expecting maddison on straight away 2nd half.  That could be a game changing so mcginn needs to step up

Yep, if Leon was in form and playing he'd be getting a lot of joy down the right today.

A little surprised by the negativity. They are good at home and had us massively on the back foot last season. We have sat in deeper this time and defended well but it has been difficult to get out. When we do break, we look dangerous.

Some players are clearly not having their best day but the game plan has been solid and we have had all the better chances.

Bentancur should've been sent off for that as he should've had a yellow already.

Lovely cuddly Bentancur tries to take Onana's foot off and Alan Smith (!) can't believe he's escaped a booking.

Absolute cvnt, Bentancur - glad we lost out to Spurs signing him.

Last week virtually every foul was a yellow, today the ref must have left his yellow card at home.!

Super move, Rogers and Watkins both taking the ball incredibly well out of their feet, and Ollie spurns the chance like it's a vicar in Jane Austen.

Unexpected simile but I never read it, please explain.

I know we looked lethargic for the first half hour but I think it's tactical from Unai, Spurs players worked their socks off making numerous little sprints trying to close us down whilst we pass it about at the back but by the 40 minute mark Spurs looked out of gas.

Classic smash and grab so far. Onana has been our key man.

Energy levels should favour us as the second half progresses.

Don't be a clergyman looking to marry a Jane Austen protagonist, you will end up sad.
