Keeping them at arms length really and with a bit more quality we look like we'll create more chances

we was kind of in control and look so much better than them even with ollie and Mcginn off .

JJ and Rogers doing ok and Onana was good other than the fuck up at the end.

The ref has been absolutely rubbish.

should be 2 up at least .

Onana has been everywhere this first half, breaking up play nicely. Seems like Youri is getting chopped down every time he gets the ball away.

We need to keep carrying the ball beyond their midfield and have JJ take on Porro. Spurs are shite.

onana nearly costing us right at the end

He did a superb interception then did that which was abit disappointing

We been solid defensively but still nowhere near our best today in a attacking sense.

Mcginn been well off it as has youri.

Ramsey and rogers been good

Ollies effort was really bad.  I do worry when this happens as it usually costs us. We got to take these chances

This fucking ref.  No yellow for Udogie clattering Cash in the first 5 mins and that one from Bentanc**t on Onana… I mean it was borderline red.  Not to mention the 10 or so tactical fouls in midfield.

Well done Villa. Considering how lacklustre we've been, I'm happy to lead at HT. There's more goals in this I think.

Good.
Grew into it, still sloppy in terms of conceding possession.
Keeping it nice and tight.

The ref is the opposite of last week's, the foul on Onana was a nailed on yellow, if it was the other way 'round you could sail a ship on their tears.

How that Bentancur challenge wasn’t a yellow is bewilderingly bad. But we’ll need at least one more.

Tielemans needs to impose himself more on the game.

Cash has played well

Yep, good positioning and a few interceptions that have seriously fucked off the booing malcontents.

No idea how Bentancur hasn't been booked already. Persistent. They're a filthy side.

Good so far. Soaked up their attack. Given them no space and have started to find space on the counter. Could be 3 up to be fair. Onana was unlucky with the header and Ollie has buried chances like that plenty of times before.

Onana has been immense.

As long as we stay tight and do not give away silly free kicks then I'm expecting to get some joy as the game wears on and they leave more space.

Doing well. I think Alan Smith isn't quite accurate in saying how well Spurs have played. Get a 2nd and I think we've won.
