Unusual that ange said romaro was withdrawn second half as he was tired. Surely we got to use that to our advantage
I imagine he was just being preserved for Sunday . I'd probably leave Cash on the bench for this .
--------- Martinez----------
Konsa Carlos Torres Digne
--- Tielemans- onana ----
Ramsey ----------- McGinn
-- Watkins ----- Bailey ---

Thought it was time we ended this “Konsa right back experiment”?

I’d play the same, except swap out worst player this season for our best.
Given Cash's history with Bentancur and his form (penalties conceded) i'd be nervous about starting him Sunday.
Agree re Rogers totally forgot about him

1-3

Ramsey
Watkins (2)

A big loss for them having van de Ven out. Rogers to cause havoc and Ollie to get a brace.

Martinez

Konsa
Carlos
Torres
Digne

Onana
Tielemans

McGinn
Rogers
Ramsey

Watkins

Unsurprisingly, we've never won three in a row at their current ground. The last time we won three in a row at White Hart Lane was between 1994 and 1995 including a League Cup Quarter-Final on our way to winning it. Last time we won three league games in a row there was between 1922 and 1924. The final game was exactly one hundred years ago today (I am posting after midnight so today is 1st November).

Too early, far too early, but at some point I want to see Konsa, Mings, Pau, Digne and a box midfield of Tielemans, Onana, Kamara and Barkley. That's a team of man eating bastards.

Bissouma on his day is a very good DCM so onana will need to be up for this. Kamara would be perfect if his fitness was up

Good midfield for a low block

Could do without Onana getting booked in the opening minutes which he's getting a habit for

But why the sudden penchant for three-in-a-row stats?

Yep!  Just posted on the Mings thread.  That back four could be ace.

Yeah he needs to calm down on that i agree. If that were to happen sunday i would imagine kamara will be coming straight on

That would be a bit of a concern to he honest.  I don't think McGinn is really suited to the wide forward role, but I don't think Bailey can be trusted at the moment and Philogene doesn't look ready.

I think carlos is the one who should be left out tbh tim.

Id go konsa and pau with cash at rb
I was going to put Cash in but then remembered last years drama with him down there . It's a tricky one , at least we have options .

All the more reason to start him! Just needs to stay on his feet at all times and he will be fine. Was it Spurs last season Emery tried a horrible formation with Cash kind of a winger/wing back with Konsa behind him? We definitely don't need that.

Martinez
Cash, Konsa, Mings, Digne
Kamara, Tielemans
McGinn, Ramsey
Rogers, Watkins

Still a very strong first X1, think Kamara did enough during the week to get the first 70 mins or so. Ramsey can be our key man I think, thought he was out best player v Bournemouth. Hopefully can grab a goal and keep Porro on the back foot.

If you're going with the box midfield then you need to play Maatsen for this reason. Then with him, Rogers and Watkins you've got acceleration for days.

Torres is not getting dropped and nor should he.
