Presume you’ve left Rogers out by accident?  I think it will be that line up with McGinn possibly dropping out for Rogers.

Unsurprisingly, we've never won three in a row at their current ground. The last time we won three in a row at White Hart Lane was between 1994 and 1995 including a League Cup Quarter-Final on our way to winning it. Last time we won three league games in a row there was between 1922 and 1924. The final game was exactly one hundred years ago today (I am posting after midnight so today is 1st November).

Van de ven is a big loss for them. They will be weak at the back without him. He seems to have weak hamstrings which is a big worry given his pace. Spurs 1 Villa 3.

All of their injured players will be fit. 

As said many times before, outside of Blues, this is the most stressful game (home and away) for me such is my irrational hatred for Spurs.

It always feels that you are up against the Spurs team and most of the media in a game such as this, much of this is misplaced of course but they are constantly depicted to be on the verge of something big and just like our loss to them late last season, another loss here and you can write us off and watch them fly.

The truth is something else though and I can already see gritted teeth as we gain the points and bollocks up the accepted narrative once again. And from our point of view, we have little room for excuse if we don't win, what with a full squad and in good form.

Thanks for this, i was thinking in terms of league wins ‘down there’ (points randomly) inclusive of any ground. So 100 years! Given this, probability wise, the chances of us winning again are unlikely, but I suppose, the Unai factor means we’ve done things in the last two years we’ve rarely if ever done.
A draw seems the most likely result to me, but i’ll ignore my head, 2-1 us (Watkins, Tielemans).

A win here would be brilliant - particularly given the last couple of results.  Plus I hate spurs.

I’d go konsa at right back and bring back all the big guns.  I’d leave Bailey on the bench - which I’m almost certain he will do.

Our best form over the last two years was when Bailey was flying. I remember saying he was our Mo Salah.

It is imperative he regains that form as soon as possible if we are to reach them heights again. Tielemans is doing a fantastic job of replacing Luiz. We now have Kamara and Mings back. We just need Bailey firing on all cylinders.

I would start him against Spurs.

I’d play the same, except swap out worst player this season for our best.
