Unai's post match interview:

"For me the referee was fantastic today"

I hope he was being sarcastic!

He's being his usual gentlemanly self.

I have to keep reminding myself, it was a draw, we’re up to third.
If Liverpool beat Arsenal tomorrow, we’ll stay there.

I can imagine the players and Unai probably feel even more frustrated at the result than we do. Hope this means that they all come out swinging, as it were, v Palace and Spurs next week.

He was.

The ref though was abysmal i felt today. Booking our players for minor things het Bournemouth were doing worse at times and he wasnt even giving a freekick

He just gave himself nowhere to go. I think there were six or seven fouls in the first half hour and he booked 5 players.

I was  on edge from the moment we scored because it never felt enough.
That’s because we just don’t do clean sheets, and we flipping obliged.

And why we were unable to keep hold of the ball for more than 5 seconds at a time in the six minutes of injury time will forever be a mystery.

Think it starts with Ramsey trying to play Barkley in and losing possession instead of just holding it up and going backwards or towards the corner flag. Silly and avoidable
Yes we were saying the same thing at the time. That was poor game management.

As has been said, considering their press had only really given Onana some issues, I've no idea why we went long all the time from the back in the last 10 minutes or so. It must have been an instruction from Emery though?

They focused all their late attacks down our right but Bailey barely tracked back to help when he came on and was weak in the challenges. Cash didn't get much help.

Tavernier has a good delivery and it was a good finish but it was all so unnecessary having got into a deserved lead and controlled the game for long periods. Bournemouth had little threat from open play.

The 13 yellow cards in the game was absurd. However, by the end, the referee had raised his low bar and was failing to book players.

Very frustrating

They had a strategy of playing balls behind Cash all game

I thought we looked less solid without Carlos.

I don’t think Duran and Watkins can play together.

Disappointed Ramsay didn’t just hold on to the ball at the end when he had the chance.

As usual amazed at the number of season ticket holders leaving early when we are 1-0 up.

Very, very frustrating. It felt like a 'nearly game' all game and then we got the goal finally. Thought we'd see the game out from there but game management was woeful. Ramsey playing an overhit forward pass straight to their goalie in the 93rd minute needlessly ceding possession summed it up.

Got to get more streetwise really.

On another note, can Watkins please bulk up a bit. He simply could not hold the ball up and got outmuscled throughout by their centre halves. Needs some strengthening work big-time.

Feels like a loss.

Sooner Cash is sold the better.

Is this a joke?

Thought he struggled towards the end of the game.  From my view in the North Stand, he looked lucky not to give a penalty away.  I thought that Carlos would come on for him, with Konsa shifting to RB in the closing stages.

The subs were hit and miss. We just couldn't keep the ball in the last 10 or so minutes. Just needed to see it out with possession of the ball. Gave it away cheaply too often in stoppage time. A waste of two points

Cash played well today.
Onana wasn't very good.
Rogers was quiet, as was Watkins.
Ramsey would have done more when he was getting forward in that inside left channel.

Well that was a sickener, conceding to pretty much the last touch of the game. Nobody will be more annoyed that Unai that we threw away two points when we should have had the game in the bag. Last 15 mins were awful.
