The game just highlights the inconsistencies with referees. Every player who got booked today deserved it but I can guarantee his next match some leeway will be shown.

As for the match, why are we still trying to score with a minute to go? Waste time anyway possible without giving away dangerous fouls.

Barkley you had one fucking job.

McPhee will be in for another bollocking.

We just had to concentrate for a few more seconds. How Evanilson got to that header before any defender I'll never know.

Cash got a few for it and will get a roasting in the dressing room.  Emery and McPhee were going mad at him to get into position before they took that free kick, Konsa was having a go at him after it and then McPhee was after the final whistle.
Wonder if that means Konsa at right back next match?

Rogers finishing will be brought into question soon unless he starts converting .

Thought he looked very laboured today and missed a great chance first 10 mins. Unsurprising really as he had played every minute until today.
Bournemouth stayed in the game and were neat without really threatening. Their tactic to stop Pau having the ball and allowing Konsa to have it was pretty smart as we lacked the tempo he brings on the ball..
Those last 10 minutes defending a lead were probably our worst under Emery. We didn’t put any passes together at all.

Think it starts with Ramsey trying to play Barkley in and losing possession instead of just holding it up and going backwards or towards the corner flag. Silly and avoidable

Unai's post match interview:

"For me the referee was fantastic today"

I hope he was being sarcastic!

Just annoys me after the Ipswich game to see such bad game management again.  I know these things happen etc etc.

I know things are great, I know were third etc etc.  But we have had a very easy start to the season, and I know were some way off the standards of the arsenal and man citys of this world, but at some point well have a tough run, injuries etc so dropping points when we dont need to is something we need to avoid.  As ultimately 4th and 5th places will go to the club that manage to do that the least.

I think we lack a bit of leadership at times on the pitch, and a bit of quality / form in the final third beyond watkins and duran.

I wonder if this sees the end of the cash right back experiment.   ;)

Should have ended it after we scored in all seriousness.

Carlos for Cash and the dreaded Konsa to RB would have ushered in yet another clean sheet.

It doesn't matter how many points we had at this stage last season, we're fighting this campaign.

True but the previous season is always just about the best benchmark against which to measure how a season is going

Sooner Cash is sold the better.

Is this a joke?

Should have seen the game out after three subs combined to give us the lead, then lost composure and kept giving the ball away the last 15 minutes. We played well for large parts of the game with JJ causing them plenty of problems, but we need to start taking more of our chances.

Bitterly disappointing result.  Some great stuff at times, but we have to be more ruthless
