Will Disasi be the one to miss out on the Champions League? With Mings and Pau hopefully back? I can’t imagine Malen, Rashford and Asensio signing without assurances of CL football.

You could say the same thing for Disasi who provides much needed cover at RCB and RB. If Garcia is a given as one that misses out then we don’t have any natural cover for Cash or any injured CBs. I’m sure UE has a plan and we’ll find out soon enough.

The squad looks much, much better now. Got shafted a bit on Disasi by the sound of it, paying a loan fee we didn't want to, but all in all, pretty happy with the business we've done.

Pretty sure it was reported the Norwegian lad had talked to a load of top clubs and will decide in the summer.  haven’t heard anything about the Turkish CB for weeks. 

Strange as it seemed a done deal.  On that note, if we loaned him straight back are we obligated to announce the signing?

So that potentially leaves Malen vs Asensio…so does UE give the final place to our own player or a 3x CL winner who may, or may not, have been promised CL football as part of his loan agreement. Hopefully none of us know what we’re talking about and all of them can make the squad.
