Apparently we only need to leave 1 out of the 5 new signings from the CL squad as we’ve moved on more than 5 players from List A…so basically it will likely be just Garcia that misses out (based on Disasi being able to cover RCB and RB). I know Rashford mentioned playing CL football so imagine the same would have helped with getting Asensio too.

With Philogene going though don't we lose a spot due to mandatory homegrown player rules?

Yes, but we're down to, I think, 17 players on list a so we've got plenty of space on that front, the slots to register new additions is the limiting factor.

Which means what Paul?  How many of the new players are we able to add to the squad please?

It looks like 3, the confusion is because there's lines about extras that only apply to a handful of countries but that context wasn't being included in a lot of places.

Does anyone know if Bennie McCarthey is joining?

He is getting a lift in with Robbie Keane.

The squad looks much, much better now. Got shafted a bit on Disasi by the sound of it, paying a loan fee we didn't want to, but all in all, pretty happy with the business we've done.

At a guess, looking at other loans from Chelsea, the option was to pay a big-ish loan fee or have an obligation to buy in the summer.

I could see there be scope for Grealish in the summer if one of the loan signings don't materialise into permanent moves
Grealish days numbered and if Emery was interested then it's sort of move that could happen.

At the moment it's an issue of anyone taking his wages.
And with Man City owing some of the £100m still a deal in some capacity could materialise ?!

Maybe even if Asensio and Rashford did work out would still look to take back Jack.
But maybe that ship has sailed?

Does make you wonder why Bade didn't come. If, as reported, he didn't think he would be first choice, wouldn't we have gone back after Mings injury and again with a video of the Wolves game?

Will Disasi be the one to miss out on the Champions League? With Mings and Pau hopefully back? I can’t imagine Malen, Rashford and Asensio signing without assurances of CL football.

How long has it been since we had transfer signings done in the North Stand?

When do we have to submit a list?

You'd think they all have been told they stand a chance of being in the squad.

Everything that made Jack Grealish unplayable has been coached out of him. He looks miserable and he's watching his childhood team move on without him. He could've been a legend but he took the money. No thank you.
