This has nothing to do with the player. Chelsea refused to deal with us on him or Diasi. Maybe the Diasi one could still happen but it's unlikely. But let's not blame the player here. Also in the summer, from what I have read he was kind of convinced to go to Chelsea as part of the Conor Gallagher deal for PSR reasons. He was happy to go back there of course but nothing suggests he turned us down.
