Just suppose we end up with Garcia, Malen, Disasi, Rashford, Asensio, and Felix - half of a new team - will we still be complaining?

We need another CB to make this is a good window. But quite frankly I’m quite excited at the options we now have going forward. We need creativity and a genuine threat and we will have it now. We need to stop conceding daft goals, but I’m going to take the glass half full position on what we are doing to help up meet our goals for the balance of this season. We will replace Philogene, Duran and Buendia with Rashford, Malen and Asensio.

So Chelsea have been pissing us about. Cost us decent points. Clever strategy from them.

And there was us thinking they were our new best friends after Maatsen, Carney etc

I'd like to see two central defenders come in, one of which needs to be a new main man at the back. Going forward I'm not wholly convinced any of our centre-halves are good enough for top 4. Konsa has flattered to deceive for a year now to be brutally honest, albeit he's not been helped by a constant rotation of partners.

I can only see Mings being progressively more prone to injury too (and there have always been question marks over his consistency). Pau is Rolls Royce but I feel like he'd be better in a back 3 and we are unlikely to play that consistently.

I believe two loans at any one time is the max (though don't quote me on that), so a Lenglet-type deal isn't possible if we complete Rash and Asensio.

I think we've been down the route and had the discussion before that primarily signing players from lower down clubs or subs benches eventually degrades your team. Our summer deals were Chelsea subs bench, Everton, Hull, Juventus subs bench, Luton and Sheffield Utd. I don't think it's worked and the performances and league position at the moment back that up.

Well, we're about to sign two players from Man Utd and PSG and you're still not happy. Just try not to be angry about absolutely everything. You'll feel better for it.

Panic loans. Wake up.

Now Danso has gone and Disasi looks unlikely got the feeling of being a panic 24 hours.  If window closes with us a centre half down questions will need to be asked of Monchi & co

I agree, with one being someone who can cover RB when Mings and Torres return.

You see, more anger. I feel sorry for the person who sits next to you at the game.

To be fair, with exception of Arsenal I think must of our rivals are suffering with poor centre backs.

It won’t  be though will it?  His back up is already in place with Foyth

The superfluous and repeated use of "important" there is shocking  foreign journalist or not. Send him to the stocks.

It just means "big" in Romance languages*.

🚨⚪️ Tottenham are now pushing to agree on Axel Disasi deal with Chelsea as negotiations are ongoing today.

As reported two days ago, Spurs want two centre backs (Danso first) after Dragusin’s serious injury.

Aston Villa agreed terms with Disasi but not with Chelsea so far.
