We won't stop leaking goals though until we stop the idea of Tielemans as a holding mid. Kamara and Barkley is the only combination I would trust in there, and Barkley is made of glass.

Barkley can't run either but Tielemans is just being targeted each game now by players running at him. Onana looks a dud too.

I agree, but it is a double edged sword Steve. My issue is the way we want to play, the 2 in the double pivot have to be all things to all men. Onana ain't that. They need to do the defensive work, but also need to progress the ball. Douglas had the ability to release the forward players earlier, getting us behind faster than we are this season. I am using him as an example, but the reality for me is you look at Tonali and Guimares at Newcastle, they are top drawer.

Right now we need a centre half and a 10 more, but in the summer that midfield alongside Kamara needs to be looked at, and we need to scout like crazy to find a couple of options. Or hope Enzo is the answer, which he may well be.

What he will help with though  is improve our set pieces  and attacking play. We can get a defender in to help with the defensive side.
