It's got to be worth it on the off chance he joins, loves it, fires us to the Champions League and then refuses to return, and goes on strike to force a move to us.

🚨🟣 Fiorentina are close to getting deal done with Paris Saint-Germain for Cher Ndour, negotiations at advanced stage.

🟣🔵👀 This could open doors to one more loan exit for PSG… with Aston Villa still working on Marco Asensio deal.

I’ve no problem with Rashford as a person. To have another socially conscious and outspoken person in the side is a big positive to me.

I know very little about his playing ability because I ignore other sides and their dramas.

We shall see. I suspect it is all media hype.

The deal with Fiorentina is said to be seven seconds away.

Without knowing him, he’s always struck me as a decent human being who has just lost his way in terms of his career and just looks unhappy. There’s obviously a decent player in there though.
I don’t really get the antagonism towards him by some posters and the need to slag him off on how he looks?
The issue for me is his agent has obviously been touting him around some of Europe’s big hitters, who seemingly don’t want to go there. Given this if he comes to us-is he going to see it as a backwards step in his career? Is he going to get motivated again by playing for Villa? Risky.

On his character - exactly, it doesn’t add up. On the comments about his appearance - we’re all adults, grow up. On the risk point, yeah it’s a gamble but for a short-term loan I’d be ok with it.

I think that's where I am. He'd be here for 4 months and he might be the difference to whether we qualify for the  Champions League again. I personally think it's worth the risk.

I know we'll all be a bit offended by the idea that we're seen as a backward step for him, necessary to rehabilitate his career, but not a move he'd even think about otherwise. But.... if it works out, who cares? Barkley is a perfect example of a player who took a step back to take steps forward, and I'm sure  the Nice and Luton fans don't care that they were looked at as a temporary step on his way back up.

Taking a ‘gamble’ on Marcus Rashford vs some of the absolute tripe we have signed before, and some are incredibly wound up by it.
I’m not sure I get the reason to be quite so vexed ?

Asensio and Rashford great, option and bodies going forward. We still need a centre half!

I think it's because he fed those kids that time.

I'd prefer a player who has shown he really wants to play for his team and prefers to train hard to get back in contention. We're still paying for the last superstar who couldn't be bothered, hope we don't make same mistake again.

Looking at all the centre halves linked, Danso from Lens looks a beast. Wouldn't mind him being the one we go for. Similar money to Bade too.
