There’s definitely a risk with sell before you buy however dealing with Fenerbache I think I would want to make sure the deal is signed before spending the money as their window shuts after ours and a deal is never done with one of the big Turkish clubs until it is signed.

Loïc Badé looks like a big improvement on Carlo who i did like but for a guy his size was weak in the air and prone to too many injuries.

Not so much the fee for him (I misread it as £30m BTW) I don't know anything about him, more that we are paying more money for him than is coming back in for Diego. I'd assumed we wouldn't be able to do that, or wouldn't do that given we have Torres coming back who seems first choice.
