Get him in on loan then in the summer look to shift Buendia, Barrenechea, Barkley, Bogarde (operation B) to balance the books.

Are we keeping Barry, Barkley and Bouba?

He has correctly dumped Ross.

Buy a fucking right back.  Now.

Not like our right back assisted an excellent cross tonight

Yeah but that was with his wrong foot.

According to reports, Swansea City want to sign Aston Villa youngster Lamare Bogarde on loan this month to bolster their ranks in both defence and midfield ahead of a potential play-off push in the second-half of the season.

Hoffenheim and also three Championship clubs made formal approach to sign Lamare Bogarde on loan. Aston Villa have still not opened the doors as he also performed at top level yesterday vs Arsenal. Unai Emery at the moment wants him to stay. pic.twitter.com/5No8CjergE

Hoffenheim, yes Swansea may be a step back in his development.

Is he relying on McGinn, Barkley and Onana being injured though, to get playing time here?

He should be fine if he is

Don't sell him, we'd get chicken feed. I'd only let him go late on if we have at least two of Onana, Meatball and Roscoe fit by Deadline Day.

Are we buying a centre back? I’ve not paid much attention.

He can cover multiple positions, and given we're still in 3 competitions - that sort of flexibility is useful to keep in the squad.

The thing that screwed us last season was injuries to our midfielders, meaning the ones who were fit were exhausted.  It's useful to have another body, especially if he can actually do a job.

Yes Onana looks like he should be twinned with St John’s Ambulance, Barkley has allways been a bit injury prone and SJM has hamstring issues which tend not to go away.
So keep as he did a very good job last night.

Apparently so with Carlos likely to leave.

Unless you bring Barronechea back to cover them and send Bogarde out to get games in holding mid.

Bring Dougie back. Him, Malen and Bade can go in the CL squad. Garcia can wait, with Cash and Konsa here.

Dougie coming back now, if we can get a good centre half over the line too, would give us a great chance of top 5. Him and Kamara sitting, with some of the options up top. Agreed on the Garcia, you can use Konsa and Cash in the CL where the number of games left would be arguable anyway. Love it to happen but doubt it will.
