Tayo won 2-1 and Mingueza appeared to play right wing back. Andrei Ratiu who we’ve been linked with as well played right back for Rayo.

Another bargain bucket option. Borja Sainz at Norwich, 23, basque, top scorer in the championship so far, 15 goals so far.

Never seen him or even heard of him tbh but we could send Buendia the other way.

He's like the player El Ghazi wanted to be but never was.

Now banned for six matches for spitting at an opponent, the filthy animal.

As bad as spitting is, I still find it annoying that a disgusting but ultimately harmless action cops a six game ban while Brighton lad that attempted GBH is free to crack on.

Aston Villa and Oscar Mingueza, deal on… and #AVFC director Monchi in attendance at Rayo-Celta tonight.

I saw some of the game in a bar I was in last night (no Villa being shown). He was reasonably involved in the game.

Fair play, I thought he'd retired from playing some time back.

Aston Villa are now closing in on Tidiam Gomis — he will spend the rest of the season on loan at Caen.

Aston Villa wants to pay Oscar Mingueza's €20m release clause — everything depends on the player now.

Is the Roy Keane deal still on?

What's the legend again - we were in for him and he would have won us the league but once Yanited came calling that was it?

God almighty no, well past it.

He wants to ‘explore his options for playing abroad.’

Translation - ‘he wants a massive payday in Saudi Arabia to fund his divorce settlement.’

Good god no. In his prime a brilliant player, but he’s gone.
