How the holy feck could Forest buy Luiz. They were in a worse place than anyone last season.

10m for carlos. Thats a great deal for us.

It isn't really.

He was signed on a 4 year deal for something like £28m which means, after 2 1/2 years his current value for PSR is £10.5m so we'd actually be making a small loss in the only measure that matters.

I hope he wouldn't go there. He might if he's held onto his and Lehmann's love-nest in the midlands.

There's a young Ecuadorian centre-back who's replaced him. Whose name I've forgotten.

Or he will move on for free the season after this.

Forest are apparently interested in Dougie now. Not sure if that's even worse than the thought of him joining Man City or Arsenal?

Rumours of Man U and Juve doing a swap deal with Dougie and Zirkzee.

Considering his age, wage and how long he has left i would say its a great deal for us

It is probably the best deal we are likely to get, but would leave us a player down with no profit to spend on a replacement. Personally I'd rather keep him than have to sell him at a book loss plus another player to fund the replacement.

Curates egg of a player, occasionally brilliant but prone to the odd stinker too.

Not seen anything reported over here.
Probably his level and where he last looked any good.

Wasn't there talk of Gauci going on loan? Can't see both of them leaving?

Yes, but that’s only because it was poor business when we signed him at 29-years old for £26M from Sevilla. It’s unrealistic for us to be able to shift him for much more now that he’s pushing 32, and not even a nailed-on starter for us.

Interesting to see what Kinsky is like at Spurs. Young keeper signed for a relatively modest fee, thrown straight into the firing line. I suppose there is a clearer pathway to be first choice at Spurs, whereas any keeper signed by Villa is inevitably going to spend a lot of time on the bench.
