I don't think it suits anyone involved for him to come back in this window, even if it makes sense and would be a good option.

I'd love him back, but the reality is we don't have room for him in the squad, and it would be an amount of money we currently can't afford.  I don't think Juve will get all of their money back, but he'll still be £30m+ I'd imagine.   If Barkley were sold, then we could make room, but he's been doing fine, and more importantly, he isn't making noises about not getting loads of minutes.    Dougie wouldn't be the automatic first-choice he was if he came back.

They’re prepared to let him go on loan with an obligation to buy, so maybe we’d have room (PSR-wise) if it could be pushed back to after 30th June?

That said, I think Man City and maybe Arsenal might be interested, and he’d probably pick one of them.

I’ll cry if he turns out for anyone else. But I think he will.

If citeh are interested he will go back there even if we made a offer. I always felt he would have jumped at the chance to gi back to citeh if they matched the minimum  clause that they had

Sky reporting that Juve want to loan out Luiz with obligation to purchase at the end of the season and two PL clubs are showing an interest. Would we want him back? Do we ned him say as back up for Youri?

Backup to Tielemans? Emery is already moving Tielemans out of the position Luiz thrived in next to Kamara. Anywhere near his best and fully focused, Luiz walks back into the team and improves us immediately. But we spent huge money on his replacement Onana so leaving aside FFP/PSR reasons it's not going to happen.

If he ends up at Arsenal or Man City, I think we will feel like we were had a bit by Luiz/Juve last summer. Was this always the end game for him? Tottenham have loads of money to spend, Man United...he improves those two immediately too.

I’d rather Man City go for Dougie than come asking about Kamara as a Rodri stand in

If we'd not sold him to Juve it would probably have been one of those suspects anyway as there aren't many teams outside of England that could afford him.

Well it’s entirely dependent on who and how quickly we can get someone in. He’s one of three centre backs we have available at the mo (well close to available)

It doesn't sound a lot of money for him but he is 31. Like Paul says, someone will need to come in.
