Booooooo! Transfer speculation sucks especially when we're the best team in the land. We don't need nobody else, just you and me.

Is that a reference to a Whipping Boy lyric??!

Sure is. Deadly, wernt they?

Duran for Nico, straight swap.

Maybe last summer, but not these days.

Now Malmo are eyeing a January reinforcement and want to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen, according to Swedish daily Expressen.

It is suggested that Aston Villa are open to letting Olsen move on, despite the fact that he is under contract..

Malmo are exploring several possibilities to bring the 34-year-old back to his homeland

It seems odd that we have re-elevated him to second choice if we are planning on getting rid. Unless Gauci picked up a knock with the Aussies.

Ill happily let olsen go if there is interest.

Poor keeper in my view. Happy for gauci to take over as no 2

We've not re-elevated him, he's back from an injury that's kept him out all season.

I have not impressed with either tbh. I would seriously worry if Emi was out for any significant length of time.

Right side is the issue for me.  Unless Kosta is getting close to being included we have 1 RB and 2 RCBs.  With Bailey's form not being at the level of last season and Philogene making his way we're so much weaker than the left.

Bit harsh given Gauci has played 1 game for us (and did ok before conceding a silly late goal that he couldn't do much about because the defenders in front of him were running on empty).

According to Mundo Deportivo, Christantus Uche has emerged as a target for Aston Villa and Newcastle United. The summer signing at Getafe has been immense for the club so far this season, prompting talk of a January move to the Premier League.

Christantus Uche only joined Getafe in the summer from Spanish third-tier club AD Ceuta FC for €500,000. While not many expected him to hit the ground running soon, the attacking midfielder has done the opposite by becoming a key star for the La Liga club.

Aston Villa considering Kevin Zenon swoop

According to a report by Argentine outlet El Crack Deportivo, Kevin Zenon is the subject of interest from Aston Villa. The Villans are keen on bolstering their wide options next year, with the Boca Juniors prospect emerging as a target. Meanwhile, Emiliano Martinez might prove crucial to the West Midlands club’s chances of landing the 23-year-old wide player.
