Why didn’t we just lie to Bade and tell him he would have loads of game time?

We didn't have to lie to him, he just needed to wait a day and Mings got injured.

I literally  cannot believe the foolishness of the club if we do not sign a center back. Its just sheer madness.

They never learn

SSN just talking about Mathys Tel going to Spurs after having said no, and preferring to go to Man United, Arsenal or us.

Reluctantly agreed to go to Spurs.

At this late stage, we need a center half who is prepared to be 4th choice when everyone else is fit. Preferably, with Premier League experience.

That's why the name Conor Coady popped up.
Yes. We have 3 international CBs. Two of them are currently injured, but should be back in contention relatively soon. The club’s stated intention to only buy players that improve the squad is admirable, but potentially problematic if we don’t have much time or money to sign someone. IMO the incoming player either has to be:
1) An improvement on the 3 international CBs we already have, and confident that they’ll get game time when they’re all fit (expensive), or;
2) Willing tp sign on loan knowing that they’ll be first choice immediately, and then fight it out for the rest of the season, before going back to their home club.
If we can’t get either of those, then we’re looking at fourth choice options/ squad fillers, which can only be short-term loans.
Clearly Bade wasn’t confident he’d get game time when Mings and Torres are fit.

Sounds like if they get Disasi it will be reluctantly too. Will really help the mood, I'm sure. Ange could be gone this time next week too.

We've signed Malen, Rashford and Asensio along with a very promising looking right back. Even with the outgoings our attack has been upgraded massively if we can get this lot playing together. I reckon most outsiders would look and think we've had a genuinely incredible transfer window, but on here the club are being called incompetent and people want Monchi sacked.

Without all the piss take of critics, the reality is we have a negative goal difference at least 10 difference of the teams above us.
This with the Lev Yashin Goalkeeper in the team.
Our defending is crap
If we do not finish with a C.B we deserve what we get

Spurs are low-balling Burnley for their French centre back - Maxime Esteve.

I'd never heard of him, so looked him up on wiki:

Quote
International career
Estève is a youth international for France, having played for the France U20s.[9] After some injuries in his position at club level with Burnley, he took the decision himself to withdraw from the French 2024 Summer Olympics squad, and was replaced by Loïc Badé.[10][11]

So he's better than Bade.  Let's nick him.

Rightly. He's had a month knowing we were down to 3 centre backs, so he sold one, and didn't replace him, then the one who'd been out for 16 months got injured. It's not a hard scenario to plan and sort.

It’s not that we are a needy fan base but we’ve just signed a guy from PSG who’s won everything in Club football and yet we are still moaning. They had a CB target who turned us down and Chelsea are messi g us around with plan B. We don’t have FFP headroom just to throw money at it. It’s difficult to attract a player of the right calibre if they are guaranteed to start when everyone is fit. Let’s see the bigger picture here.

But then outsiders are probably unaware of our injury problems as according to Sky and similar, every team has an injury crisis except us.
