Aston Villa’s move for Juan Foyth is not currently progressing & looks unlikely as things stand.
@SkySportsLyall
Could say it's the Foythste Saga.

A play on words of the novels of the Forsyte Saga.
The saga chronicles the lives of three generations of a large, upper middle-class family at the turn of the century

Just looking at X and seeing that 90% of Chelsea fans want Felix to stay and rate him but don’t think he’s been given the minutes
As for Disasi most would drive him here themselves

Same way as people will look at our comments on Durán, Carlos, Buendia and make assumptions as to what they’ll be getting if these things happen

Can anyone explain what Felix has done to even be considered for a move? Not even sure why it’s being discussed- the club haven’t mentioned it have they?

£60m is nowhere near enough for Duran. I just don't believe we'll sell at that price which is what the Saudi team are reportedly offering. Gets to £75m I think he's gone though, with Disasi, Felix and probably the young Besiltas striker being bought in.

I may be wrong here, but us there any hard evidence he turned us down for Chelsea in the summer, or did he just take only only firm offer on the table for him to get out of Madrid?

This was my understanding of it. Gallagher also went the other way, didn't he? So possible there was some kind of agreement there that made it easier for him to get the move done. I do belive he just wanted out and Chelsea were the only team that could afford to do it.
I think too there was something about us wanting him but whatever deal was supposed to make it financially possible didn't happen so we never even made a bid. Not sure if it was Duran to West Ham, maybe?

I woudnt be against changing things around with multiple moves, we are not exactly clicking as a team last series of games.

Personally God was mentioned so that's why I added to discussion.
Did you know:
A player can be inspired by God which helps him or her . That is only a good thing.
That is all I would say without drawing this debate out
Let's peacefully enjoy that knowledge that some of our players gain strength from God.

Why has God helped Man City so much recently though? Or is Allah just better at helping footballers? Is that the real reason why they’ve been so good since the Abu Dhabi takeover?

Slightly off topic but this actually works as the best answer to why the rebuttal from Ashtonvilla isn't great.

As an atheist/agnostic all you need to do is show that there is no evidence that a god has to exist. As a follower of any religion you not only have to prove that a god (or gods) exist, but also that you've backed the right horse.

That's why 'prove there isn't a god' is a weak argument, I don't need to, I just need to prove that the evidence you cite applies to lots of other religions for you to be wrong.

That wasn't the frame of reference. All you have to prove for what? All I have to prove for what? I am not interested in convincing you to believe, and I am not claiming I can prove anything. I only make the point that absence of evidence is not proof of something not existing, and atheists can be a tad sanctimonious in not recognising this.

We can't see infrared, and only know it exists now due to science. However it was still real before it was discovered. Humans are limited. The world is full of things that could not have been known in the past but have been revealed to be fact now.

The only reason I commented at all was because someone that does believe got jumped on and lampooned. They were not trying to convince anyone of anything, just putting their belief out there. I am a Christian but would have defended a Muslim, Buddhist or other religious believer too.

Regards Felix not coming in the summer, I don't think he snubbed us. Wasn't it more the case we were not able to make an offer due to FFP.
Astonvilla, thought he meant me,thank God I got it wrong,oh no what have I said

When Ive watched Felix this season , I kept hoping he would have a mare but must admit at times he has looked good.

Not sure about Felix at all , reminds me of the Coutinho saga plus we just got rid of Buendia who also seems a very similar player .
As for Duran I thought we'd said it's £100m minimum.

I don’t recall seeing any rumours that the club had put a £100m price on his head.  I’ve seen £80m a few times.

That might reduce if he’s been a pain in the arse again this window.

Maybe it's cheaper to Saudi and not a competitor.

There is no frame of reference needed for your first line:

You can just as easily sat that there is zero evidence to suggest God does not exist. You can't prove love exists either, but belief in it is almost universal. Some things require faith to believe in not proof.

For someone who claims to be so smart it's strange that you led with a complete logical fallacy. Proving the existence of a god (non-denominational at this point) is comparatively easy, you just need 1 miracle that can't be explained in any other way. Proving he doesn't exist is impossible by all practical means so no, you can't use that argument. Therefore, as I said, the only even remotely comparable argument is for a believer to not only prove a god exists but also to have irrefutable proof that it's the exact one they believe in.

Even then it's something that should be possible, if it's true.

As for the rest, millions of people haven't been killed. tortured and demonised over an argument about whether infrared exists.

Having belief is fine, but when you use that to do horrific things in the name of a supposedly omnibenevolent, omnipotent and omniscient god thne people that don't agree with you might have something to say about it.

Or are you just angling for a nobel prize in christian apologetics?

Would prefer Grealish returning than Felix. Felix had that one season as a kid with Benfica and has flattered to deceive ever since.

I think I’d rather have Grealish over Felix, but then is Grealish any good now?
