Well we’re in a spot of bother now - sold our defensive cover and we have two senior centre backs who are available. That’s not great.

It's potentially catastrophic.

I’m guessing they must have a back up loan deal in place just in case but we are gambling on the next couple of games

Now that bade deal looks dead-Those monaco cbs looked very very good. Especially in the air. Maybe we should try get one of them?

Kehrer only plays for Monaco because he wasn't good enough to get into a mediocre West Ham defence.

Tomori would be a great signing but surely very expensive.

I suppose Garcia coming in theoretically means Konsa is liberated from right-back responsibilities.

Still, it doesn't look clever at all.

He's not really being playing much for Milan for the last year or so.

Reckon they'd see him as expendable if a decent offer came in. Feels very Newcastle to me though.

Antonio Silva? He was linked previously, very high potential but would be more expensive than Bade.

He has a €100m buyout clause but Benfica are willing to accept €50m.

Can't really say Ozz as I only really watch full games of Benfica twice a season.. against Sporting. From the extended highlights I've seen he's basically a brick wall, not much gets past him. He's a proper defender but I can't think of anybody to compare him to. He does one job, he stops attacks. He doesn't have Torres distribution, he prefers to simply lay it off to a midfielder. By all accounts he's a fantastic prospect, 21 so still learning but enough for both Juventus and Milan to put in €30/€35m offers of loan and buy in the summer. Both offers turned down.

Not sure we're prepared to splash out €40m plus add-ons but I imagine somebody will.

Riyadhs Al Nassr are interested in Duran. Now what is going on here? They are one of the big boys of Saudi Pro league

French journalist Santi Ona confirmed via the "X" platform that Al-Nasr Club want Aston Villa striker John Doran.

“Paris Saint-Germain had made a verbal offer worth 75 million euros to sign Duran, and it was rejected by Aston Villa.. Now Al-Nasr Club is entering the race, The player is interested in the idea of playing in Saudi Arabia"

I do think there's a known or leaked clause in his new contract. And I do think there is no smoke without fire.
There seems to be a lot of disruption and stories wanting to break about bids from West Ham and PSG, that Chelsea having discussions and now Al Nassr coming in for him?
