They have a Colombian CB called Lucumi so will be a good battle between the two.

Also a Jhon.

I read somewhere Duran is suspended as booked in first two CL matches. Annoying with the Young Boys yellow as the goal was cancelled in the end so odd his yellow still stands.
Three yellows for a ban.
So, he can play against Bologna but will miss the Brugge game. :P

Huge game , win this we go into a great position.
Won't be easy they won't roll over .
Full strength team required and maximum input, Emery will demand this .
COYVB's , incredible times for us all .

Agree with you but you left Torres out of your starting 11, surely he’s in the strongest 11?

Depends on number of streets and how many girls are working that night.

It’ll be an absolute piece of piss. 4-1

No CL game is easy. Its arrogance like that could be our down fall.

You’re right, I’ve got to be careful. Who knows how my arrogance will rub off on Unai and the team.

3-0 Bologna.

Good glad to see you have returned to normality 🤣

If any if the other 3 English clubs were playing Bologna at home, it would be viewed as a certain home win. But even some of our own supporters are staining their pants at the prospect of facing a foreign club.
For 2 calendar years, across 3 seasons Unai Emery has had this Villa side performing at a consistent level way above anything on offer in the French, Italian, German, Portuguese or Spanish leagues. Show some respect and behave like a fan of a top 4 Premier League team. 3-0 to the good guys

I think we will have too much for Bologna.

3-0  Watkins, Ramsey, Tielemans.

We could be top of the league Tuesday night. Dortmund the only other team on 6 points playing on Tuesday, they're away to Real Madrid.

Bologna gave Liverpool a good game, had 12 shots to Liverpools 9, and had 48% possession. I'm not sure Emery has us performing 'way above' Real Madrid (Spanish League) either? But it's all about opinions...

Three yellows for a ban.

I made a player and suspension thread so people can keep abreast of things. It's all there both League and Euro

I've keep on top of its under Champions League Card Watch

Yellow card Rules
Suspension for 3, 5 and 7 yellows in the League Phase of 8 games
Yellow cards are reset after the quarter-finals.

Yellow Cards
2 Duran
1 Diego Carlos Hand ball
1 Ian Maatsen

Hope that clears it up and gives insights to where squad players currently at.

They're 13th in Serie A.

9 points from 8 games.

1 win: 2- 1 away at Monza who sit 1 place above bottom

6 draws: At home against Udinese,  Empoli, Atalanta and Parma; and away at Como and at Genoa yesterday 2-2.

1 defeat:  3-0 at Napoli.

In the ECL:
Drew at home v Shakhtar Donetsk 0-0
Lost at Anfield 2-0.

We should be able to get a result against them.
