Very excited for this one. Due to the help of a couple of kind souls on here I'll be taking my six and ten year old for their first Villa Park trip.

Not a bad competition to go and watch for a first time.

Have a great time mate - im sure the kids will love it

I’d go with

Martinez
Cash
Konsa
Pau
Maatsen
Tielemans
McGinn
Onana
Rogers
Buendia
Duran

I’d have Ramsey starting ahead of Beundia and possibly keep Carlos in as he’s on a good run of form, pushing Konsa to right back. If things are going well, perhaps give Kamara 10-15 mins

--------- Martinez -----------
Cash Konsa Carlos Digne
--- Onana -- Tielemans ----
Ramsey ---------- McGinn
-- Watkins ---- Rogers

get the game in the bag then rotate on 60 / 65 mins

Think this is going to be harder than we think. They gave Liverpool a game by all accounts and whilst not setting things alight in Serie A they’ve only lost once. Think it’ll be 1-0 or 2-1 to us.

A good job we're playing them at home, rather than away. This is Bologna rn:-

Assume Philogene will start now, given he'll be taking next weekend off?

I read somewhere Duran is suspended as booked in first two CL matches. Annoying with the Young Boys yellow as the goal was cancelled in the end so odd his yellow still stands.

I think if available he'd have started this and Ollie would've had a breather for the Bournemouth game.

McGinn comes back in for this and probably Konsa aswell.

Huge game , win this we go into a great position.
Won't be easy they won't roll over .
Full strength team required and maximum input, Emery will demand this .
COYVB's , incredible times for us all .

Yeah, I reckon so. Replace him with McGinn around the 60.

In my opinion, we have far better options than Jaden now that our injury list has cleared up.

He has done ok covering for us and I'm certainly not writing him off, but he isn't a 1st 11 starter for me when we have a fully fit squad and definitely not in the CL. Not yet anyway.

Just my opinion.

I think we'll start with McGinn on the right.

I agree, Unai will want that energy there.

A win on Tuesday night will put us in a very strong position in terms of making the play-off stage at the least.

These are not a push over, they caused Liverpool a few problems when they played them.
