Yikes. If it wasn't Emery I'd swear whoever picked that starting XI against one of the strongest sides in Europe was sailing the good ship LSD.

Let's not concede in the first 30 mins and see where we go from there.

Positive Diego Oh No vibes: He turns in a good game every 15-20. Usually against good oppp. So he's due one.  He must know that Emery tried to pot him in the summer so it's not totally unthinkable he turns in a worldy tonight with a view to getting a move in Jan.

Tonight we'll live or die by how we play it out from the back..they won't let Emi showboat on the edge of the area that's for sure. Hope Diego puts a reducer on Kane early on..

Yes, an early yellow card for Carlos would be an ideal start.
I wasn't advocating a booking, something sly, the dark arts are on another level in this competition with some of our continental friends.
