Looking at Bayern's socials looks like we allowed them to train at Bodymoor Heath this morning.

That's a strange move from both parties.

Bayern are a good team, but then so are Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

We beat two of those at home last season and battered the other one being unlucky to only draw.

Not sure why we are holding Bayern to a higher reputation?

City were missing a host of key players when we beat them at home lets not forget that.  This is a virtually full strength munich team. I also feel the team last season was better than this season. This is going to be a very tough game but certainly not impossible to get a positive result either!

Feel like I could burst tonight. Excitement, pride, nerves.

Such a privilege to be Villa right now, no matter what the result. I'm 37 and have waited for a home game in Europe's premier competition my whole life. So many false starts. So many near misses. But right now, we are here, and I intend to appreciate and enjoy every fucking second of it.

Up. The. Villa.

We didn't just beat City, we absolutely annihilated them, and we were missing key players too.

Arsenal weren't and we beat them twice last season. (Not to mention being largely the better team in the game this season) Liverpool weren't and we battered them at home.

Both of them teams I'd say are at the very least the equal of this Bayern team.

Tonight is a one off huge game against a massive club in a league competition. No matter what happens it won't define our story in this season's Champions League no more than an away trip to the Emptyhad would define a league season.

One thing is for certain, Unai will have them prepared with a unique game plan. UTV

Tonight we'll live or die by how we play it out from the back..they won't let Emi showboat on the edge of the area that's for sure. Hope Diego puts a reducer on Kane early on..

We have good enough players to compete with and cause this Bayern team a number of problems. Especially at home.

A draw would be a decent result. A win a good one.

I'm hopeful, but I don't really mind. I hope there's no horrible whacking, but our progress shouldn't depend on this match if we play well in our winnable games.

Dont. Enjoy it. We are not expected to get anything so we can just sit and soak up the atmosphere. What will be will be. To be in it is remarkable

I’m liking the blue light champions league logo above each exit.

I expect us to get something. We aren't some plucky team from Cyprus. We finished 4th in the best league in the world and we are at home.
