This is why we need to be making 2-3 changes after CL games, flat as anything and second to most balls.

We have proven players on the bench who can turn this game so use them.

That's my big concern for this season and that's the easiest CL game we'll get all year aswell.

Our squad isn't that thin. We have one of the most inform CFs in World football warming the bench every prem game because he isn't trusted to press well from the start.

I look at Liverpool starting Nunez today after CL and he's scored.

Maatsen was starting a CL final four months ago, I'm disappointed we haven't seen more of him so far.

Barkley made a difference last week and Bailey is back involved although probably wise just to give him the last 20 minutes after three weeks out.

Just playing the same 11 every 3-4 days is very O'Neill esque and will lead to us picking up injuries like we've seen with SJM so I'm very surprised Unai is doing. End of last season we had no choice but to play the same side in the run in due to the injuries but now we have far more options in most areas of the pitch so use them otherwise we'll be dropping plenty of points after European games this season.

It will be interesting to see if it's Bailey or Barkley who comes on for Meatball.

Tiredness should not be a thing at this stage in the season. And if it is, there are the likes of Kosta, Bailey, Buendia, Duran and Barkley he could have started instead. In any case, the div who made the fuck up has played 45 minutes so far this season before today.
