Great spirit to come back in the way we did. Tielemans is an absolute Rolls Royce of a player. Well done Ollie on getting a brace. And Durans goal…fuck me you won’t see a better one this season.

Name a better struck shot than Duran’s goal. Don’t say Savo, Jhon’s is better.

Only better struck shot I've ever seen at VP was that Paul Scholes goal against us.

And just about every Matthew Le Tissier goal.

[BillMcLaren] and they'll be greetin' on Merseyside tonight [/BillMcLaren]

Youri MOTM
Thunderc@nt of the Season settled already, well done Jhon
Defensive frailties exposed
Onana had an off-day and Rogers will surely get back to his best again soon
Barkley did well when he came on
Watkins is now hopefully hitting form, as is JJ
Bogarde and Jaden got some valuable experience but need to tighten up defensively when playing together

Should have been more comfortable, but the right result in the end.

Yeah fair play to everton today they showed a lot of heart. Very unlucky not to get anything today.

I agree on rogers he is excellent but holds onto the ball too long. Needs to pass the ball at times

To lose back to back games from being 2-0 up is crushing.
Absolutely

Completely demoralising

Dont see how they pick themselves up from this. Thats woeful to have that two games on trot

I’ve watched the goal about a hundred times so far and I swear you can hear Emery shout ‘don’t shoot’ just before he smashes it in.

Duran was a mere 30 yards out, against Everton Chris Nicholl would have considered that distance a tap in.

Savo’s goal against Leeds was obviously magnificent and was during a cup final, so gets extra points for importance. Jhon’s goal though, was further out, hit harder and swerved more. Just outstanding in every way.

Onana and Tielmans, Kamara and Barkley

That is some strength in depth when they’re all fit.

For people who watched on the box, was DCL offside when he ran through and we all seemed to stop, he fucked it anyway and ended up with a corner. We were sure the flag was going to go up but it didn't.

And did he foul/trip Pau when he went through later?

He was possibly offside, and it was a great defensive jab at the ball, not a miss.

VAR should have checked because Everton got the advantage with the corner.

Not that I care much but these highlights and on 606 don’t show how many chances we had or the general direction of the play.  Seems the narrative is very much how Everton threw it way.

Another goal observation, yes it was a worldie of a strike but it also followed over 20 passes involving eight players.
