In 1996, Louise Nurding, later to be known as Louise Redknapp - wife of Jamie Redknapp who did tonight's draw, had a song called "One Kiss From Heaven". Villa were ball number one.

Coincidence?

Doubtful, that was the fifth single from her debut album and we drew Crystal Palace who were ball number five.

We were the first winners in Nineteen Sixty ONE.
Our first Wembley final was in Nineteen Seventy ONE.
It pays to take notice of numbers. So there's a lot of sense there from this.
There a lot of signs and symbolism and actually if you have heard of synchronicity that is the only coincidence I would deal in as then it always makes sense. It's actually quite accurate way to deal with things.

"The Club also take this opportunity to announce pricing for domestic cup matches should we be drawn at home. All Carabao Cup matches and the first home fixture in the FA Cup will be priced at just £25 for adults and £10 for children in all areas of the Stadium."

Any reduction for pensioners ? It's half term week and I want to take my granddaughter to her first floodlit game.

https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2024/september/04/champions-league-ticket-details/ there was no mention of it, but who knows. they've left themselves an easy win to put over 65 with under 18....
likely?!

Wasn’t it Just A Step From Heaven, when she was part of pop trio Eternal?

Palace have been to Villa Park 6 times in the cup games. We've won 5 and drawn 1.
The one draw they did get in 1978 we still went through 3-0 after a 2nd replay at Coventry.

I went to that second replay. Great night. The back of the Holte packed into that bit in the home end (The West stand?) Andy Gray was fantastic that night.

Apparently they chopped off Kevin Nolan’s middle finger to stop him reaching ball #1. He’s been paid off so denying it. FACT!

All our League Cup trophy wins occurred in years begining with a 1.

Just checked tonights lottery results. Ball 1 hadn't appeared since 3rd July. That's 28 consecutive draws without Ball 1! Tonight it re-appeared.

Don't forget the Titanic and Olympic being switched to deliberately sink the latter as part of an insurance fraud.

(Boss of the Tampa mafia) Santo Traficante Junior’s last words were “we killed the wrong brother”). Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby were both Mafia associates.

Take that draw given some of the teams left in it.
